Chose Thompsons to arrange our mums cremation after she passed recently, from the two guys who came to collect mum from home to the Pall-bearers on the day we could not have asked for better treatment. Amanda who made all of the arrangements and did everything from discussing the familys requests to making sure everything was perfect in enabling us to visit mum in the on site chapel, i visited mum every day and was always made to feel welcome and not in the way, i was given as much time as i needed with mum and she was helped to look exactly as we remembered her even down to her hair style. As a family we were treated with the upmost respect amd the dignity offered to mum helped the process that much easier. Amanda even informed us after we had collected mums ashes that whenever the family are ready they could help us in making arrangements to scatter her ashes if that is what we wanted. Thompsons made sure that during what was obviously a devastating time we would have that much less to worry about and it really did make a difference.

From my initial visit I was made to feel comfortable and at ease at a difficult time. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about every facet of the funeral arrangements, nothing was too much trouble. I was kept fully updated at each stage of the process and given excellent advice to help me make the arrangements, from music, choice of coffin, flowers, order of service and headstone, everything was covered and I had various options in line with acting on the last wishes of my mother. The staff on the day could not have been more professional and understanding and did an excellent job, which enabled us as a family to celebrate a life well lived and not have any concerns on the day. Thompsons are a very professional and long standing directors within the community and did all in their power to ensure we could celebrate and say our goodbyes as a family. Simply the best.

Thompsons was the obvious choice for me when my mother passed away. They had dealt with my father’s funeral and many other family members passed and had always been reliable, courteous and above all empathetic to the feelings of those left bereaved.
Sheila in Tuebrook is very experienced and can guide you seamlessly through the process. Sheila, Amanda and Paul supported my family throughout answering any questions quickly and honestly.The service was a perfect send off to my lovely mum and Thompsons’s made sure that everything was taken care of, just as we had asked. I would highly recommend Thompsons’s services.

I was given a price over the phone and travelled from Manchester to Liverpool the next day to make the arrangements. I was told that the prices have just gone up today. I said no they haven’t you must honour the price you gave me yesterday. My hand are tied was the jist and i said i find you dishonourable but i am going now and i will give you half an hour to come to me and honour the price. I did not get a call and i soon made arrangements with a different director and a saving of nearly £500.00 and what I believe is a better all round deal.

I can only say the help and care that I was given from Thomson’s when my brother passed was fabulous. They helped me all the way gave me advice when I was unsure. Amanda is a lovely person and all the pall bearers were very professional. I would recommend them to any one you won’t get any where so kind and professional
