We as a family cannot recommend Sue Porter and her team highly enough. They cared for our daughter in the most compassionate and professional way. They made us feel that they were part of our family during the most difficult of times. We can’t thank them enough for everything they did. An excellent, personal service by Team Sue Porter and especially Gwen who took us under her wing. We didn't know where to start with planning a funeral - its not something that you think you'll ever need to be proficient in. But right from the start we were guided and helped with all decisions that had to be made.
It was dad's funeral and they were so good with mum all the way through. We chose not to visit him once he was in their care, and we were told that was OK. Not everyone reacts to the passing of a loved one in the same way, and that's OK to feel that way - we were reassured.
The weeks before the funeral the correspondence was just right, helping with decisions to be made. We hired the casket flowers as it was a cremation, and the "Dad" flowers in the hearse. I didn't know this was even a thing- but it makes complete sense when theres no burial - so much better for the environment. We did have a portrait photo of dad at the end of the coffin, which we used in the service too, all these little touches made it very personal. It was Team Sue Porter who took all that responsibility off us, and made sure that all the plans for the day went as well as they could. Gwen really was a rock for us all, and the rest of the team were so respectful - even down to the drivers. Gwen got out and walked down Landican with a Scottish piper to pipe dad on his final journey, everyone went above and beyond to make this the service that we'd planned as a family. I 100% recommend them, they are amazing at all they do.

Jenny and the team at Sue Porter were so helpful and professional in caring for my wife and helping us navigate through the funeral arrangements.
We were obviously very upset at Ruth's passing but Jenny helped and guided us every step of the way.
She recommended Suzanne Jones as our minister, again Suzie was fantastic in helping us clarify the type of service we wanted.
