Losing our mum was a real shock for us and we had no proper idea of how to proceed with things. Step in Andrew and his wonderful team. From the very first time we sat down, explained who we were and worked through the array of decisions and requests, all the way through to the day of the funeral, nothing was too much trouble and everything was accommodated beautifully with real sensitivity.
The attention to detail from the outset was fantastic. The celebrant, Paul, was wonderful, the service and how we constructed it was exactly as we wanted and Andrew's team on the day helped guide us through the funeral with professionalism, care and dignity. Post funeral, this care and assistance remained in place which has helped us enormously.
It was the small touches that really mattered - the order of service and our input into that, the music, the visual tribute, our requests regarding the chapel of rest and just the general sense of wellbeing that we felt while proceeding through the whole process.
I can't recommend Andrew and his Team highly enough. At a time when we needed real help combined with compassion, that is precisely what we gratefully received.

From the very moment we met Andrew Roughley and his incredible team, we felt truly cared for. Their compassion was immediate — not something they switched on for the job, but something that seemed to be part of who they are.
When Dad passed away at home, the way Andrew and his staff came to collect him is something our family will never forget. It was quiet, dignified, and deeply respectful. They moved with such gentleness, speaking softly, giving us time, and treating Dad as though he were their own loved one. In one of the hardest moments of our lives, they brought calm into the room and made us feel safe.
Throughout the entire process, they guided us with genuine empathy. Nothing was rushed, nothing was ever too much trouble. Every detail of the cremation was handled with care and efficiency, allowing us to focus on each other rather than worry about arrangements.
What meant the most was how at ease they made us feel. Their support didn’t feel like a service — it felt like kindness. Real, human kindness. And that is something we will always be grateful for.
We cannot thank Andrew Roughley and all the staff enough for the dignity, warmth, and compassion they showed our family at every step.

Sadly our dear mum passed away April 2026 and we used Andrew Roughley in Maghull and I have to say, they made the process so easy as its such a distressing time, they are such lovely and I mean really lovely people. Nothing is too much trouble and they make you feel at ease over anything.
The day of the funeral was very professional and beautiful and so very very respectful of mums sad day. I cannot recommend them enough. Amazing from start to finish. 5 🌟
The family would like to say a massive thankyou to everyone there, all staff, all lovely helpful people.

This is the second time we have used Andrew and his team and after the first service I knew we wouldn’t go anywhere else if we needed to. Andrew and his wonderful team made my dad’s funeral the most memorable, beautiful, personalised service we could have dreamt of. Every detail was how we wanted it to be and I know my dad would have been very impressed! From the wonderful celebrant Adele to the personalised visual tribute everything was perfect. Their level of care never wavered. From the first meeting, they were thoughtful, attentive, and completely focused on what mattered to me. Everything was handled with dignity and genuine consideration. Their professionalism was clear, but it was their warmth and steady support that made the biggest difference.
